HK-Macau Restaurant?

This is a post on Kim Bay (HK-Macau restaurant) @ The Spring.
Surely lots of Kuching-ians know where this place is. It is easy to find, just the same row with KFC and Silhouette. (:
You know you are there when you see bamboo-ish like furniture outside the restaurant.
Kim Bay. HK-Macau restaurant with good food.
The first time we went there together.
Our list of orders. /tee-hee/
Looks like we are both big eaters lah.
Thousand-layered cake.
Pasta likey this. 'coz you can actually peel it one by one layer, nicely.
And, it's chewy too. Not over-chewy, just chewy.
Har Kao.
Different from what you get at Jalan Song or Premiere 101.
Tasted good when it's taken hot. Since the outer layer of it tends to harden when cooled.
Banana Boat with 3 flavoured ice creams.
Namely, Yam, Peppermint and Strawberry.
Honestly, this is not one wise choice. [notice the white white cream?]
/sighs/ it's fattening and greasy since they overdid the cream part.
Love the design though. The lil japanese umbrella and 2 half-sliced banana beside which definitely add up the feeling of a boat, banana boat. Calamari Rings.
Okay, confession, we hunt for this everywhere we go. Since Pasta loves calamari rings.
Here, they did it slightly differently. They chopped it into smaller mouth sized bites and deep-fried it. /yums!/
It is easier to chomp-chomp this. So, definitely in the liking list. /tee-hee/
Cheese-baked Mussle.
Steak's first time eating these. And guess what? He's addicted. /laughs/
The mussle here are guaranteed to be fresh. And the amount of cheese is generously more than enough. /yums!/
Must try. Must.
Anyway, our second time there was with Steak's brother. [can't remember much of the names, so just feast your eyes on the pictures, okie?]
Plum tea.
Mango Shake.
Chicken and Egg salad.
Have to eat some healthy food, once-in-a-while lah. /tee-hee/
Dim sums. Randomly picked.
The poster/banner beside our table was temptingly big and yummeh.
So why not try it out?
Mushroom chicken with salted fish steamed with rice.
The aroma is mouthwatering.

Where is to this HK-Macau food heaven?
