And, at that moment, Pasta grabbed the book, read it, finished it faster than Steak. /evil grins/ :p

This random book. As seen above. Jodi Picoult's Perfect Match.
Suprisingly, this book capture our attention and interest equally much. It's kinda rare to find a book, moreover, a novel that suits both Pasta's and Steak's taste.
We know lah, this book is published years ago. But back then, we are not much into novels.
Anyway, a short synopsis on Perfect Match.
What happens when you do all the right thing for all the wrong reasons? As an assistant district attorney in York County, Maine, Nina Frost prosecutes the sort of crimes that tears families apart. She helps client navigate their way through nightmares - even though the legal system is not always the faultless compass they want and need it to be. She learns that the easiest way to cross this devastating minefield time and time again is to offer compassion, battle fiercely for justice and keep her emotional distance.
But when Nina and her husband Caleb discover that their five-year-old son Nathaniel has been sexually abused, that distance is impossible to maintain. The world Nina inhabits now seems different from the one she lived in yesterday; the lines between family and professional life are erased; and answers to questions she thought she knew are no longer easy to find. Overcome by anger and desperate for vengeance, Nina ignites a battle that may cause her to lose the very thing she is fighting for.
Don't that just made you wanna read the whole novel? From the first page to the last word?
No worries, there is an excerpt from the novel you can browse through, here, if you are still wondering how good this novel can be.
Pasta did homework and actually googled about the novel in search for more juicy stuffs.

This interesting site on quotes from the books, here.
And, there are other covers to the book which was found.

Trust us, you will get hooked in reading her novels.
It's fascinating how she could wrote out that, sometimes justice isn't the way we want it to be. Sometimes, you thought you are protecting someone you love when you are almost losing that.
All in all, it's a great novel. /thumbs up/
Gonna go get charged for tonight's webdesigningjob! Ciao.
