Japanese food invasion.

Since everyone is talking about delicious nice yummy sushis, the sushi bonanza next week here in Borneo Island.
Well, we will just say it out loud, we are kiasu so thus this post on Sushi King. /evil laughs/
For all Kuching-ians, who doesn't know there is a Sushi King both in The Spring and Hill's Shopping Mall. Blessed we are?The well-known Sushi King Logo.

Let's get to the facts before the food?
For those who are still wondering, what is Sushi? [we doubt that there is any].
Sushi (寿司, 鮨, or 鮓) is cooked vinegar rice which is commonly topped with other ingredients, such as fish or other seafood, or put into rolls. Sliced raw fish alone is called sashimi, as distinct from sushi. Sushi served rolled inside or around dried and pressed layer sheets of seaweed (or nori) is makizushi (巻き). Toppings stuffed into a small pouch of fried tofu is inarizushi. Toppings served scattered over a bowl of sushi rice is called chirashi-zushi (ちらし). [here]

That should be a brief introduction about Sushi. And since we know you must be hungry. Let's feast your eyes on some of our favourite Sushi platter-on-conveyor-belt, okay? [warning, please do not continue reading with an empty tummy]. Here goes.
Our favourite! Chukka Lidako. Finally can memorise the name of this seasoned baby octopus.
Half of a Dragon Ball? /laughs/ Basically fried egg. Everyone's favourite. Seasoned squid. /yums!/
[Don't ask /bug us about rotating the pictures below before posting, we tried that, it was the 6873548687987654th we rotated, uploaded, deleted and rotated, uploaded, deleted. Blame the computers in library.] /evilgrins/
Let's continue with the pictures. Bear with us and turn your heads sideways. Jellyfish. In spicy sweet sauce. Yummeh as it is.
Who doesn't like sweetcorn, raise your hands? Now it's better, sweetcorn sushi-style. How can one resist?
Raw squid. The name of the platter says it all. No need for more description.
Last but not least, cheese-lovers out there! This is for you.
Yupp, you guessed it. Covered in cheese.

Well, that is a brief one from us. More to come and more to expect during Sushi King's Bonanza.
Can't wait. Wait, we haven't got ourselves the member cards yet. Oh, nosss!
Off we go, ciao.
