Happy Belated Deepavali

Yesterday was Deepavali or Diwali.
So Steak dragged Pasta along for a house-visiting of a close friend of his.
Why not? Pasta never went visiting for Deepavali.

Upon arrival, we spotted this fancy decorative picture on the door, the main door.
Entering, we spotted more decorative cards, and stickers and flower ornaments.
But there is a big crowd there, thus we can't snap any pictures.
'coz their heads are blocking the view.
All sorts of Bollywood artists' cards.
With simple yet sweet blessings in the cards.

Then, we are treated to home-made cookies and cakes.
We wondered, how they managed to come out with so many choices of cookies and cakes.
There is orange cake, chocolate cake, fruit cake, cappuccino cake.
Almost all the best flavour of cakes one would kill for.

But that is not the end to it.
We are again asked to treat ourselves to a simple home-made meal.
Consisting of 3 sort of curry, nasi briyani, some local vegetable, and not to miss out, roti canai.
Oh, we missed out this, this is the famous thing of the day.
Don't ask us, we don't know what it is called nor how to eat it.
Till we actually ask Steak's friend.
Shame on us. /haha
So this is the plate of simple meal we took.
Sumptuous?
It all tasted superb.

Anyway, Happy Belated Deepavali to all.
And, we are back to hiding in study room, ciao.
