Sugar-bunny-sugar-babe-sugar-bun!

Sorry to disappoint y'all, but there is no sugar-bunny, no sugar-babe here.
There is only, sugar bun.
Saddd? Don't be, there is an interesting picture at the end of this post as a compensate for y'all?
Ain't that good of us? We are sure the last picture will make you drool.
Guaranteed.

Anyway, sugarbun is where we went for lunch today, after succeed in escaping from campus food.
Just for these few days. 'coz y'know, eating the same choices of food every meal is, em, not good for the digestion, or at least, for our digestion?
Nostalgic?
When it comes to sugarbun, the thing that we remember most is fish burger.
We think the same applies to most of us?
(but, unfortunately, we missed the picture of the whole fish burger itself, le sigh)
Anyway, this is our lunch. (we missed taking picture of another tray, le sigh, again)
Fish burger, checked. Rice, checked. Chicken, checked. Coleslaw, checked.
Perfect lunch, sugarbun style.

After satisfying lunch at sugarbun, we went back to our imprisonment, a.k.a. the campus.
Knowing our crave for freedom, the campus definitely do no fulfill our lust (for freedom, of course!)

Luckily, there are some events for us to join, or let's say, to kepo-kepo?
FK's mentor-mentee day.
It's a day where lecturers a.k.a. our mentors get-to-get-her with us, mentees.
This time, the whole SAFE (student association of faculty of engineering) decided to make a BBQ gathering.
And, last decision = 70kg of chicken wings/hot dogs.
Some of the BBQ-ed chicken wing/hot dog all ready to be grabbed by hungry ghosts a.k.a. us students.
And, best of all, it's all free, for us mentees.
As the mentors had already paid for us all.
How good can that be? Unending free BBQ food.
Is that a "ohmygosh" we heard from you?

That's all, gotta go back to our BBQ session!

Two is better than one.

[delayed post.]
27/03/2010.
Earth Hour.
BRC open day.
Busy day for both of us.

Yupp. Our campus supports Earth Hour! UNIMAS supports!

See? They set up tents and stuffs getting ready for the countdown and stuffs.

/laughs/ blurry picture. Taken purposely.

During Earth Hour. Not much different, kan? Since not all faculties are taking part. /le sigh/
Oh well, at least it's a great start, right?

There is this concert 1varsity @ BRC open day. So after Hour Earth, we walked over to see what's happening there.

Filled with people. People moutain people sea lah. /teehee!/

See who is in the house! /laughs/ sorry iPhone no can't zoom.

Malaysia Idol Is here. And some more guest artists. Believe that?

That was how our busy day turned out. Fun! Gonna go chill, ciao.

Expo @ campus.

31/03/2010 - 01/04/2010.
One of the faculty of our campus had this bazaar/ekspo. Pretty sunny day for ekspo.

Tents are set up for stalls. Bazaar bah. /teehee!/ pretty day, right?

The banner of the day. Jom Gempak Ekspo! [now you know our campus/uni] /laughs/

There is lotsa activities other than stalls selling stuffs. Not to miss out, karaoke too!

All kinds of deco to heat things up. Including this string of colourful colourful balloons. Who isn't a fan of balloon, kan? Pasta is also a fan of colourful balloons even though is afraid of balloon burst.

IGlool. One of the best stalls outside there when the weather is so freaking hot. Trust us, they can sell up to thousands of cups per day! [if it doesn't rain lah]

Magic bite. Yummiest waffles and Kaya balls. A long queue is there waiting for their assorted flavoured waffles.

A stall selling mini hair clips and hair bangs. The business for them isn't blomming today. Bad choice of product.

Kain for sale! Both of us are seriously wondering who would buy these.

Fried food plus cold drinks. simple choice of food and beverage yet liked by all.

Sarawak laksa? Mee jawa? We bought a laksa for RM3. And of course it tasted bad. What can we expect much from a student bazaar other than drop-dead cheap prizes?

Local kuih. A taste of local food is good, once in a while, no?

Soft toys for sale! RM10 for three.

Stationaries! What an average campus student needed.

Football fans out there! Some suh-wert souvenirs for you all.

Last but not least, a stall selling roses and Teddy bears. For all the lovey-dovey couples out in campus, why not pamper your other half with fresh rose? We are off to bed. /teehee!/ Ciao.

Gods of all.

Today is Earth Hour. Here are some logos and images we found interesting over the net.
Of course, not to miss out, the official Earth Hour logo. If you are not sure what Earth hour is all about? Why not visit the official website, here? And, Earth Hour Malaysia, here. Some FAQ about EHM, here. Why not be a fan of Earth Hour Malaysia @ Facebook, here~! Okay, back to pictures about Earth Hour that we found.
Interesting poster about EH by Kaze Lee.
Interesting posters designed by VineHouse.
This is cute, max! Even google went all pitch black in support of EH.
Time to join the revolution poster. Polky dots.
Selangor joining EHM. Mad cute. With a dolly chucky there(!).
Enough with the pictures. /tee-hee!/
Watch this.

UNIMAS is joining the EHM this year too. In shutting off the lights from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. We all are joining in the fun @ Dataran Universiti. No dress codes. No fees or whatsoever. And participant gets chops. /laughs/ More to the event, lantern show, karaoke session. Not to forget BRC's open day.
Oh! Tonight we are both going to BRC open day's GhostHouse. /tee-hee!/ needlesstosay, having some great on-nom-nom @ BRC bazaar!

/woo-hoo/ Gonna attend this two events tonight! Hope all's at best!

How did we both spend our Saturday? Stuck at campus, like usual. But, Mr Steak decided to donate blood this morning, wth! Ms Pasta kamchiong like what. T___T Oh well, since he wanna do something charitable, so why not tag along with him lor, pei him. Pictures? Update next time, can?
Back to topic, staying in campus. We went to CAIS, our usual lepak place. With air-cond, fast cable line, good facilities, why not? So, we set up everything and relax. Watched a movie.
What movie? Related to Gods. Hades, Zeus. Guessing, anyone?
The Lightning Thief. /tee-hee!/
We missed it during premiere so opted to watch it now.
Trailer time first today.

The Lightning Thief is based on a 2005 fantasy/adventure novel based on Greek mythology written by Rick Riordan. It is the first book in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series.
This time, it's the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson's Greek Mythology texts and into his life. And they are not happy: Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen and Percy is the prime suspect. Even more troubling is the sudden disappearance of Percy's mother. As Percy adapts to his newly discovered status as a demi-god (his father is Poseidon), he finds himself caught berween the battling titans of Mount Olympus. He and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy's mother and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Some juicy digs.
The official website, here.
Rating? Here.

That is for today. Gonna go out for that 2 major event @ campus! /woo-hoo!/
Countdown for Earth Hour. Ciao.

Choo-choo-choon!

There was this video almost half a year or so ago about this cafe @ Kuching.

Remember this particular video that went all popular everywhere including facebook?
So, we did watched it. Wow-ed at the size of the large(XXL) teh-c-peng.
And we decided to search the location of the cafe. Went there for a try.
A billboard on their famous 3 layer Teh-C-Peng. Interesting that they make an effort to classified them into clothes sizes, hoh? Small, Medium and Large. /tee-hee!/
So, Steak ordered a Large 3 layer Teh-C-Peng. Big cup, no? Wait...
Till you see the Large-ness of the cup [compared to Pasta's normal soya bean]. Wow?
With that LARGE cup, you are so gonna be satisfied. Satiated. Full. Happy. Perfect?
The Laksa there. With very-so-original colours. Instead of those curry-like colours nowadays.
This is Pasta's. /tee-hee!/ It does taste good. Even though still, Golden Arch's is the best!
Steak's Kampua (Kolok Mee). He commented that the Kampua there does taste nice. Very originally yum. But, it's too small, tiny, puny. He can finish the whole plate with one mouthful. O.o
It's just that we took the picture near-ranged. /haha!/
We ordered an addition plate of Satay(!). Pasta hearts.
But still, the best satay is either @ Jalan Song, or elsewhere rather than here. /sighs/
That is all from our humble and short visit to Choon Choon Cafe.
Interested about its sizable drinks? Where is it?

Anyway, can't wait for BRC open day! This coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
So many activities to be held. So many activities to join. But no chops for residents other than the residents in BRC itself.
"Bunga Raya College Open DayCarnival 2010.
Bringing you closer to our varsity lifestyle." More, here.
Curious about some of the activities to be helded? Here.
See? D a lot of activities wei. And, it is all guaranteed to be fun by them. [we don't know lah, gonna go experience it.]
Okay, enough chattering, gonna continue our website assignment. Ciao.

5 is...

After 4! [okay, am acting lame here. T_T]
Notice their caption there? Doesn't it sounded a lil like Airasia - Now everyone can fly? /laughs/
Anyway, this was a random spot we stumbled upon on our way to find Agro bank @ Satok.
Was hungry, so why not just stop and eat there? haha!
And, they offer free wifi too! /whee-hee/ can online + makan = perfect!
Didn't order too much since we are both sick that day. Coincident?
We did ordered two side dishes. Two yummies.
Steak's fresh Lemon Tea.
Notice their generosity? It's a lil hard to find this here in Kuching lah, kan?
Pasta's fresh Lime Juice.
Why Kuching doesn't have fresh limau juice? T___T
Pasta's Lamb Chop Rice.
Hearts the yummy acar beside. All in all, this is something Pasta will surely try again during the next visit here. /yays!/
Steak's Chicken Chop Noodles.
Unfortunately, Steak isn't in condition to eat nice food that day due to his running nose. Aiya. Nevermind, will try again the next visit(!).
Steamed Wo Tie.
Steak said that it's a lil too dry, thus, not nice. Pasta said that it's not nice as the ingredient inside is weird, plus the outter skin is dry = weird.
Fried Potato Ball.
Pasta hearts them(!). They tasted as tho mashed potato inside with the fried outer cast. /yums!/ Steak said no comment since his nose is running away. T___T
Well, that sums up our humble lil visit to After 4.
Where is it?
