Study week?

Yeaps, time flies. This week is officially study week.
Like it or not, finals are in one weeks' time. Not more not less.
Sorry, can't help but /being emo/.
Anyway, we are always getting our head out the atmosphere of stress and tense here.
Headed down The Spring for some fun. MBO, to be exact.
Amongst all the fun, exciting, interesting movie titles there, we chose this.
Cause it is best to be squeezed into our tight timetable of being out. Kay? /le sigh/
So, here it is.
It's complicated.

It's an 2009 American romantic comedy film written and directed by Nancy Meyers, starring Meryl Streep, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.

Let's peek into the storyline, shall we?
Jane (Meryl Streep) is the mother of three grown kids, owns a thriving Santa Barbara bakery/restaurant and has—after a decade of divorce—an amicable relationship with her ex-husband, attorney Jake (Alec Baldwin). But when Jane and Jake find themselves out of town for their son's college graduation, things start to get complicated. An innocent meal together turns into the unimaginable—an affair. With Jake remarried to the much younger Agness (Lake Bell), Jane is now, of all things, the other woman.
Caught in the middle of their renewed romance is Adam (Steve Martin), an architect hired to remodel Jane's kitchen. Healing from a divorce of his own, Adam starts to fall for Jane, but soon realizes he's become part of a love triangle.
Should Jane and Jake move on with their lives, or is love truly lovelier the second time around? It's... complicated.

A trailer or two for your eyes?

Here is what the peeps gotta say about the movie.
When brought together at a family event, two exes find themselves oddly attracted to each other after ten years of divorce. Although the couple think that this affair will stay in a different state, it brings itself back to their own city and disrupts their personal lives. While the couple still maintain other romances, they cannot help but to continue with their affair. Written by Danielle Laskowitz

And here's some juicy digs about the review and stuffs.
Here, here, here, here and here.

Back to the topic. Study week.
When life gives you lemon, why not make lemonade? /teehee!/
Okay, so we did take 'study week' as an excuse to buy ourselves a whole load of tidbits, more-or-less, junk food.
Below is a good example of how much we can consume in a day's study.
Voilla! Guess what we packed for the day? Take a good look?

Here is the answer.
Milo 200ml drink, Milo wafers, Muruku ikan, Oyster mushroom chips, Cadbury zip vanilla-flavoured, Capri-sonne grape, Apollo Chocolate layer cake, Rocky chocolate biscuit sticks, Strepsils. And, Tuna spread.
Think we got 'em all.

Compare the pictures below?

Now, tell us what's the difference?
It's easy-peasy. You won't miss the addition of...
The Yellow Okay Pen!
Okayyy, it's lame.
The reason for why we bought the yellow-okay-pen was to make sure everything is okay. /laughs/
Isn't that reason enough?

Anyway, back to books. Ciao.

Easter is in the air!

Went for a walk @ The Spring earlier today and guess what we saw? /teehee!/

An Easter Garden in the middle of the mall. Pretty amazing wei. With a lot of colourful colourful eggs-in-baskets.

A near view o the front entrance.

A side view of the garden. Okay, in total there is 4 gates. Pretty no? Every corner there are different little cute stalls set up, selling a big range of things from cupcakes&cookies to colour-your-Easter-egg to softtoys and not to forget, chocolates!

Another view from the back.

And there is this mat of fun beside the garden. Some games of hopping and skipping and jumping to the goal. Sounds fun.

Easter Games entrance. Notice the airplane jumping game there?

A closer look of it. Nostalgic nostalgic nostalgia.
Did we mentioned about the stalls selling cupcakes&cookies?Yupp, you guessed it, we browse through and we bought something for ourselves and our roomates!
A pretty blue coated red velvet cupcake. Not your typical sponge cupcake. From Pasta to Steak.

A heart-shaped cookie. Last one available today from Steak to Pasta with love. Oh, hearts Steak lots!

A little butterfly for Pasta's roomate. Don't you find it pretty? As pretty as the receiver lah. /teehee!/

Last but least, a blue Easter egg for Steak's roomate. Very Easter-like feelings wei. /teehee!/

Anyway, to you all readers, Happy Easter Day! And Happy Hunting for Easter Eggs. To Kuching-ians, watch out for some Easter Hunting Season @ The Spring these few days! Till 2nd of April, if we are not mistaken. Take cares and have lots fun, ciao!

One Month Old.

28/02/2010 marks the beginning of our blog.
Why did we decided to start something big like this?
How are we going to manage this through our already-busy schedule?
Who are we to be compared with all those famous bloggers in blogosphere?
T_____T
All those questions above are sometimes frustrating us.
But, we stick to our own concept. We are trying to be ourselves. We are us.
And, together, we can do this!

Today is 28/03/2010. A month since our "tak-takut-mati" head-start.
A milestone we never thought we would achieve, nor to say achieve successfully! /lawa/
Something to prove that togetherness is the key to success.

Together we can, with a butterfly to support us.
Butterflies are beautiful with colours of the world. Notice how every one of the butterflies have varied colours? Each of them went through hardships from being a caterpillar, evolving into cocoons and eventually seeing and showing the world colours of their life. Their colours gave us strength to be together.
Saw this pretty picture online. How two person can make a big difference and achieve more than the world with their jigsaw puzzle, lolol.
So it's like, we can make a difference with our blogging? LOL. [ignore us being arrogant here, we are too happy for the blog to turn one-month-old.]

One Month Old.
What did we achieve?
We joined Nuffnang once the blog is launched.
Because we overheard this great advertising community that actually takes Malaysian blogger seriously. And for us, Malaysian bloggers to earn Real Money through blogging!
And we are lucky, to be able to join Project Alpha's Instant Cash Blogging.
Guess the Time is on our side? We are blessed.
One month and Nuffnang decided to reward us with prizes from Project Alpha.
One month and our readers followed us closely, not to miss out clicking the ads too!

So, of course, we will continue to serve Nuffnang and be keen to Project Alpha. It is all about bloggers in blogosphere after all. And, we love our readers.

Y'all out there, take cares! Ciao.

Gods of all.

Today is Earth Hour. Here are some logos and images we found interesting over the net.
Of course, not to miss out, the official Earth Hour logo. If you are not sure what Earth hour is all about? Why not visit the official website, here? And, Earth Hour Malaysia, here. Some FAQ about EHM, here. Why not be a fan of Earth Hour Malaysia @ Facebook, here~! Okay, back to pictures about Earth Hour that we found.
Interesting poster about EH by Kaze Lee.
Interesting posters designed by VineHouse.
This is cute, max! Even google went all pitch black in support of EH.
Time to join the revolution poster. Polky dots.
Selangor joining EHM. Mad cute. With a dolly chucky there(!).
Enough with the pictures. /tee-hee!/
Watch this.

UNIMAS is joining the EHM this year too. In shutting off the lights from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. We all are joining in the fun @ Dataran Universiti. No dress codes. No fees or whatsoever. And participant gets chops. /laughs/ More to the event, lantern show, karaoke session. Not to forget BRC's open day.
Oh! Tonight we are both going to BRC open day's GhostHouse. /tee-hee!/ needlesstosay, having some great on-nom-nom @ BRC bazaar!

/woo-hoo/ Gonna attend this two events tonight! Hope all's at best!

How did we both spend our Saturday? Stuck at campus, like usual. But, Mr Steak decided to donate blood this morning, wth! Ms Pasta kamchiong like what. T___T Oh well, since he wanna do something charitable, so why not tag along with him lor, pei him. Pictures? Update next time, can?
Back to topic, staying in campus. We went to CAIS, our usual lepak place. With air-cond, fast cable line, good facilities, why not? So, we set up everything and relax. Watched a movie.
What movie? Related to Gods. Hades, Zeus. Guessing, anyone?
The Lightning Thief. /tee-hee!/
We missed it during premiere so opted to watch it now.
Trailer time first today.

The Lightning Thief is based on a 2005 fantasy/adventure novel based on Greek mythology written by Rick Riordan. It is the first book in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series.
This time, it's the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson's Greek Mythology texts and into his life. And they are not happy: Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen and Percy is the prime suspect. Even more troubling is the sudden disappearance of Percy's mother. As Percy adapts to his newly discovered status as a demi-god (his father is Poseidon), he finds himself caught berween the battling titans of Mount Olympus. He and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy's mother and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Some juicy digs.
The official website, here.
Rating? Here.

That is for today. Gonna go out for that 2 major event @ campus! /woo-hoo!/
Countdown for Earth Hour. Ciao.

Choo-choo-choon!

There was this video almost half a year or so ago about this cafe @ Kuching.

Remember this particular video that went all popular everywhere including facebook?
So, we did watched it. Wow-ed at the size of the large(XXL) teh-c-peng.
And we decided to search the location of the cafe. Went there for a try.
A billboard on their famous 3 layer Teh-C-Peng. Interesting that they make an effort to classified them into clothes sizes, hoh? Small, Medium and Large. /tee-hee!/
So, Steak ordered a Large 3 layer Teh-C-Peng. Big cup, no? Wait...
Till you see the Large-ness of the cup [compared to Pasta's normal soya bean]. Wow?
With that LARGE cup, you are so gonna be satisfied. Satiated. Full. Happy. Perfect?
The Laksa there. With very-so-original colours. Instead of those curry-like colours nowadays.
This is Pasta's. /tee-hee!/ It does taste good. Even though still, Golden Arch's is the best!
Steak's Kampua (Kolok Mee). He commented that the Kampua there does taste nice. Very originally yum. But, it's too small, tiny, puny. He can finish the whole plate with one mouthful. O.o
It's just that we took the picture near-ranged. /haha!/
We ordered an addition plate of Satay(!). Pasta hearts.
But still, the best satay is either @ Jalan Song, or elsewhere rather than here. /sighs/
That is all from our humble and short visit to Choon Choon Cafe.
Interested about its sizable drinks? Where is it?

View Choon Choon Cafe in a larger map

Anyway, can't wait for BRC open day! This coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
So many activities to be held. So many activities to join. But no chops for residents other than the residents in BRC itself.
"Bunga Raya College Open DayCarnival 2010.
Bringing you closer to our varsity lifestyle." More, here.
Curious about some of the activities to be helded? Here.
See? D a lot of activities wei. And, it is all guaranteed to be fun by them. [we don't know lah, gonna go experience it.]
Okay, enough chattering, gonna continue our website assignment. Ciao.
